| Hello Chaotic Community! Here's yet another big post from me tonight. This time it's to help you better understand how 3v3 will work with the Chaotic Pad.
Help Screen:
• A White glow around the Cards on the Battleboard indicates your Cards.
• A Red glow around the Cards on the Battleboard indicates your Opponent’s Cards.
• A Blue glow on the Battleboard indicates an Open Space that your Creature can move to.
• The “Turn Step Indicator” is located at the top center of the screen and shows whose turn it is as well as the phase (Pre-Combat Move, Combat, and Post-Combat Move.)
• A Red "Combat" Turn Step Indicator indicates your Opponent’s turn to play an Attack.
• A Green “Combat” Turn Step Indicator indicates your turn to play an Attack.
• During the “Pre-Combat” and “Post-Combat” move phases, the Turn Step Indicator will be glowing Green if it is your turn and will be dimmed out if it is your Opponent’s turn (like the Play button does.)
• If you have moved at least one of your creatures and it is your turn, you can click on the Turn Step Indicator to end your turn.
• If at any point you crash or the game freezes, you can close your Chaotic Pad and re-launch it. This will return you to the Combat in play (if Combat has not already ended.)
Pre-Combat Move:
You must move at least one Creature each turn.
Each Creature may move one space per turn in any direction, unless stated otherwise on a card.
You may not move a Creature into a space occupied by another Creature you control.
If your Creature moves into a space occupied by an opponent's Creature, you start the Combat.
You may only start one Combat per turn. (The first turn of any game must have a Combat, since all the spaces on the Battleboard are occupied.)
If you choose to move once without initiating Combat, you may click the Turn Step Indicator to end your turn.
Combat:
When the game begins, both Players will automatically draw two Attack Cards, and one Player will receive Initiative (this will be random, unless an engaged Creature has "Invisibility: Surprise.") This Player is now the "Striking Player."
The Striking Player will draw an additional Attack Card and will have 30 seconds (as indicated by the green timer) to choose one of the Attack Cards and click "Play."
After an Attack is played, Damage will automatically be calculated and the opposing Creature's Energy will be reduced.
Now it is the other Player's chance to strike. Both Players alternate striking until one of the Creatures is defeated. A Creature is defeated when it has taken Damage equal to or greater than its Energy. This will initiate the Post-Combat Move step.
Post-Combat Move:
Once Combat is finished, the Active Player can continue moving any Creatures they control that have not yet moved this turn. Creatures can only move into open spaces at this time because you may only start one Combat per turn. On later turns, remember you can choose to move Creatures before or after Combat (there is no room to move before the very first Combat of the game.)
Once you have finished moving your Creatures, or if you choose not to move any Creatures, you may click the Turn Step Indicator to end your turn.
The Showdown:
If none of the player's Creatures have been engaged since the start of the last turn, a Showdown is required:
The two Creatures become engaged and Combat is initiated.
