| I find there are to many new abilities that it's annoying. Also the card art is to different for my liking (Mipedians, need more detail, Danians to much detail) and some under worlders look like weak jello creatures you would blow up into millions of pieces like in sci-fi games (Geltod) and some look like even Chaor couldn't control (Strikto).
Game wise, the new series plays to much with the element and Hive ability as well as the Over world and Danians are to close together (tribe wise) like the Over world embassies and Raznus. I thought Under worlders and Danians where in alliance? However this is only 1 person's opinion.

| I would have liked Codemaster creatures too but how much more cooler would it be to have a pack dedicated to codemasters or characters from the show? ie, 'Tom Overworld booster' or 'Codemaster Crellan Overworld booster'
But I digress, I do agrue that elements and hive is much overplayed in this set but nonetheless it may be useful for some players. |

| Excactly and dont worry person who posted do you not get its a danian pack (or something close to that).
We fully understand that it's a Danian pack but it dosen't mean the other tribes should be so vastly under-represented. And yes I know the base set was Underworld and Overworld focused.
I just hope after the Mipedian focused pack (silent sands), we can have the same amount of each tribe represented. |

| Nah, the 4 tribes are at war! It's just that Danian's hive is in the Underworld, so that's why some people thinks that!
Anyway, back on the Zenith of the Hive: I LOVE IT! Really! New cards, and almost all of them have at least one ability! And it's not abilities we used to see before, it's all new, interesting, strategy-building ones! Love it! Like, giving an elementalist every elements your other creatures have... Is there any Overworlder Elementalist to bring along Heptadd, already? Gotta look for that!
Elemental-Proof is nice, and I see there is a lot of Fireproof! This will reduce the well known ''Underworld's Supremacy''! The ''Ice Cloak'', or something like that, that gives Fireproof 20 when revealed and Fireproof 10 for the rest of the game, that's a good one!
The Infection is great, adding Mandiblors, that's a wonder! And I already calculated how much mandiblors you could have, not only with that, but also with I l l e x i a 's ''Mugic points = Mandiblors'' ability and also Khritlaan's ''Mandiblor's in Discard piles still count as mandiblors''. Adding to that the Talisman of Mandiblor and Kannen's ability... Man, you could get a real army there!
Defender is a nice one, two! Changing spots between two creatures, this could happen unexpecting! Protecting your best creatures so that you can prepare a better Attack hand! Nice one!
I also love the Mipedian's Song of Shelter! We see so much ''Canon of Casualty+Ulmar's ability'' around, this will stop them fairly easily!
Contrairly to what one said earlier, I just love that there is so much more new abilities around! This makes possibilities for thousands of new strategies! Many were complaining that we always end up fighting the same kind of army around here... Well, it won't happen anymore! Here what I predict: People will try to get a lots of this ''Ice Cloak'' or something, along with creatures with Fireproof, all of that, and will win against the Chaor trick. So those will stop using Fire creatures, and, in the long run, everyone will have their own, personnal army!
My only one complaint: Not enought Earth location here. Only one, that gives Range+Swift. With that, that's only make 2 locations (with Gloomuck Swamp). But at least there is no other Fire location and another Water location, which is nice! But adding an Earth Location in Silent Sands is my suggestion for the future set!
Except that, I applaude at the Chaotic makers for this wonderful new edition! |

| I don't see it's that much ''elemental rush'', with all those elementalproof, and Elemental Denials mugics, and all that! It does include the Discipline element without getting ride of the Elemental one, and that's nice!
Maybe what you meant is that there is not enought Discipline attack deck. While, yeah, that would be true, but those in the First Edition, Sleep Sting, Power Pulse, Skeletal Strike and Paral-Eyes are there for that! Don't forget that you can mix any cards from the first edition with cards from the second! |

| The situational cards focus on Danians as opposed to their abilities except Hive of course.
So, what I was saying is that many cards require hive to be on or off/ for the opponent to be danian or underworld, etc/ that your card have x element before gaining y.
The abilities are fine, in fact they are perfect and innovative but some creature abilities are overally situational. |
