theres a creature that does damage to teh opposinng creature for each element they yhave, and there fire water earth and air proofs, and its easyer to take away elements now too, so heptadd has more opposition then ever.

I'm going to pick up two b o x es; I'm thinking a Danian/Overworld Earth/Water cross, seeing as how there are so many earth, and now water, danians. Mostly I want to use Craw and that new OW creature - Loofah or whatever. (You know; the one that's like Intress, but good.) The one that looks like an antelope.

If anyone has noticed this please respond...

ZoTH is great and I love the set! But I saw the most of the creature's were weighed to danians (expected) and Underworlders.. There were only 3 overworld creatures.

I just, thought that was a bit odd.

Danians: A ton of creatures ( Including 2 ultras, at least 4 supers and a ton other )

Mipedian 5 (2, or 3 supers, 1 rare, and 1 uncommon)

Underworld: 1 ultra, a few supers, and a few other cards, (uncommons, commons, etc)

Oveworld: 3 cards... 1 super, 1 rare, and a common..

Post thoughts please

Hi! I was sleeping when everyone posted 3 new pages, but I want to give my opinion about this ''situationnal'' thing.

I want to tell this: Everything in this game is situationnal!

Exemple: You bring an Underworlder with much Power and Fire damage, but what if your opponent have a high-power creature, too, and Gloomuck Swamp to add that? Then you can't win your Power challenge and your Fire attacks are reduced by 5! This is a situation where your strategy fails! Opposingly, if you have, let's say, Psimion, a wise earth-user, well, it will fails if your opponent have a wise creature, too, and Everain! You can't win challenge against creature of similar stats.

See? It does depends on your strategy, but also on your opponent's one! I may decide to build an army based mostly on Wisdom and Courage discipline, bringing out creatures like Tartarek, Khybon or Brathe (amongst others) and Sleep Sting, Skeletal Strike and Telekinetic Bolt for attacks, a strategy that would deal well with most Underworlder army (Who are either low in Courage or low in Wisdom, sometimes both), but would be quite uneffective against other tribes. Believe me, I tried it out, and won easy battle against Barath Beyond or Rothat, but had trouble with other tribes.

So, yeah, it's all situationnal! So you have 2 possibilities: a) if you know what your opponent's strategy is, bring up situationnal cards that are advantageous to you or b) if you don't know your opponent's strategy (which will most of the time be the case online, but it may be different if you play offline), bring a strategy that would deal with most situations. As a matter of fact, a Song of Shelter or a Refrain of Denial would be useful there. Discord of Disarming will let you deal with dangerous battlegears, like the new Elemental Pauldrons. ''But what if he don't have any good battlegear to get rid of''. Well, it may happens! As I said, just be prepared for the most possibilities! That's *** I repeat: This game is situationnal! Every card games are, this isn't new! But that don't mean you can't bring up some good strategies! As I said before, I predict some Ice Cloak in the first weeks of this game, to get rid of the Underworld's madness, then a real mix-up of thousands of strategies!

ZOTH is awesome. Great new strategies opened up for at home play. My question is how many months before the cards work online? We still have about a dozen cards from Dawn of Perim that don't work at all or as intended. Great concepts from the Chaotic Team. Here's hoping the coders can catch up...

Thumbs up for Carnival of Confusion.
