| Okay this might sound insane but I think I might know (or at least have a guess) at why Codemaster Crellan is interested in Tom. I think Crellan might be...Tom's dad or at least a relative of some sort. And before you go posting about how crazy I sound here are a couple of reasons why I think this.
In Battle Lesson Crellan tricked Tom into battling him when Tom went into a slump after losing Maxxor. At the end when Kaz wonders if Crellan knew Tom was there and set the whole thing up Sarah specifically says that she never heard of a Codemaster doing that for a player. Kinda weird don't you think?
In Legions of Aa'une Crellan calls Kaz saying he heard that Tom was stuck in Perim. He also tells Kaz that the Transport Center was only shut down all transportation INSIDE Perim so Kaz could rescue Tom and the others. That's also strange how he's more concerned about Tom that he is the others and there was something in his tone that was...weird.
Now for those of you who are thinking "but Codemaster Crellan's human form looked WAY too young to be Tom's dad!" You're right he did look too young but I want to point out something. Since the Codemasters are in charge of Chaotic it's safe to assume they made Chaotic. If they can make players turn into creatures from Perim and do battle without k i l l i n g each other, allow players to transport to any location they have a scan of (something the creatures could only do at random for awhile), and have it so players can be at home and in Chaotic at the same time I think it would be a simple matter for a Codemaster to alter their own appearance inside Perim meaning I don't think that was Codemaster Crellan's REAL human appearance.
And for those of you who are thinking "if Codemaster Crellan was Tom's dad wouldn't Tom KNOW about it?" My answer: Nope. The Codemasters might have a reason behind all that armor and those masks. I wouldn't be surprised if the Codemasters had enemies and any enemy of a Codemaster is an enemy to be reckoned with. So they keep their identities secret to protect the players. Besides if word got out that Codemaster Crellan was Tom's dad players might accuse him of going easy on Tom during their match.
Well that's all I got to say. Post if you agree with me or if you think I'm wrong. I'd like to remind everyone that this is a THEORY not an actual fact. I could be right and I could be dead wrong. |

| Right off the bat, I'd say it's wrong...If Crellan was Tom's dad, that'd just make the show weird, just as weird as how people are saying Maxxor is related to Chaor through Kiru....
Sure, I get what you're saying about Crellan, but I feel he's only worried about Tom because Tom is the Main Character of the show and the Storyboard Writers thought they should incorporate the fact he's the Main Character...I don't remember an episode without Tom....And the fact Crellan's battled him before, I don't think you'd forget a person you lost to that easily, especially if you're a Codemaster.
So pretty much, if that Theory was true, it'd just make the Show pretty awkward...Plus, Tom's never discussed his parents, whereas Kaz has, so we don't even know if he has a real Mom and Dad yet. I seriously doubt it's Codemasters for Parents though. |

| | If I had to guess, I would say the Crellan see's Tom's attitude and abilities, and might be grooming him to become a codemaster himself. Out of the four, Tom is the only one that take an ACTIVE interest in helping Perim and the creatures...like helping to remove the blight in Prexxor Chasm, and stopping the renegade players that were destroying locations. Tom has a heightened sense of justice and responsibility...perfect traits for a codemaster. Just my two cents. |

| | it is a good theory but chaotic is more like a game. to me it sounds alot like star wars when luke find out that vader is his father. but if u are correct then codemaster hotekk must be paytons uncle ( hehe just joking ). |
