Hello all,

First off, thanks again for playing Chaotic and helping out with the bug cleaning process. We're trying as hard as we can to make the game as clean as possible but, as with any game of this size and growing, bugs will slip through to the public. This list will be an official list of bugs known to the developers of both the game and the website. This list will not only cover begs found internally but bugs found by you, the gaming public, as well. Only bugs verified by QA will be listed here since some of the bugs reported aren't actually bugs at all. Anytime a bug gets verified, it will be placed on this list. This way, the public knows about the bug, programming knows about the bug and we can stop people from posting 2, 3, 4 or more times about the same bug. With so many other things to test here at Chaotic, I might not be able to update this too often but I will try and aim for an update whenever possible. If I can verify a bug earlier than that, great. The list will be updated as soon as this happens and I cannot promise a concrete schedule as to when the updates will happen. With that in mind, here's the list as it stands for 9/19/2009:

Chaotic Website Bugs

-RSS Feeds: Currently the RSS Feed button does not work. Hitting this button for any of the general forum categories or for specific forum threads leads to a server error.

-Buddy Lists: Adding someone to the buddy list prevents them from being able to communicate with you and vice versa.

-Editing Posts: Editing posts will add extra lines to the post. This may be dependent on the browser you are using since it seems like Internet Explorer has a higher tendency to do this as opposed to Firefox.

-Posting Errors: There are still a rare few occasions where posting something produces a server error page. While this is still being investigated, your best bet to avoid double posts is to simply hit Back on your web browser then hit Refresh. If you see your post in the Last 10 Posts made, then you don't need to post again.

-Website Logout: If you do nothing for an extended period of time, you will be logged out of the site. However, clicking on any link at this point takes you to the registration page instead of the home page. Click on the Chaotic logo to get to the home page.

-Show All Posts by Forum Member: If the user chooses to look for all of the posts made by a specific Forum Member, the page will return with a server error.

-Battlegear Loyalty: Turn of the Tide introduces the concept of Loyalty in Battlegear. However, this has not been implemented in the site just yet. We hope to have this fixed soon.

-Chat: Chat messages will not completely display if the message itself is too long. We have recently put in a limit of 55 characters per line but depending on how long your name is, not even all of that will show up. Please try to use short sentences when chatting to prevent this from happening.

-Whispering: Right clicking on a name to initiate a whisper will cause the cursor to go back to the beginning of the line before the whisper command text.

Chaotic Game Bugs

-Stack Hovering: Hovering over the Attack portion of the stack will only show the attacking Creature and the target. It will not display what Attack is being used. Only the action text will display this information. This is only present in the XNA version.

-Momental Virtuosity: The user cannot choose the same Creatures to receive both effects of the Mugic. The user is forced to choose 2 different Creatures to get the 50 boost in selected Disciplines. This is only present in the XNA version.

-Serenade of Subordinance: The user cannot choose the same Creatures to receive both effects of the Mugic. The user is forced to 1 Creature to lose 50 in a Discipline and another 1 to get the 50 Discipline boost. This is only present in the XNA version.

-Kannen: When using Kannen's ability to bring back a Mandiblor, if there are 2 or more Mandiblors eligible to return to the game, the 2nd Mandiblor will be covered by a giant 2. This is merely cosmetic since clicking on that 2 will bring back the selected Mandiblor. This is only present in the XNA version.

-Chromatic Postlude: This card will not be seen as active no matter what you do. No amount of Mugic Counters on UnderWorld Creatures will make it active nor will the presence of Heptadd's Crown on a non-UnderWorld Creature. This is only present in the XNA version.

-Mipedian Balladeers' Flute: Currently both players can choose who gets Mugic Counters once this is sacrificed. However, only the opponent should be able to choose who gets the Counter in his Army. On the other Army, the Creature sacrificing the Battlegear should be the only one qualified to get the Counter. This is only present in the XNA version.

-Ijhani Outpost: When this is a Mirage Location, users cannot pay 1 Mugic Counter to let their Creatures move from that space. This is only present in the Unity version

-Song of Revival (UnderWorld): The server will crash once players try to move a Creature brought back to the board by this Mugic. This happens on both the XNA and Unity versions.

-Reality Field Generator: The ability to block Mirage Locations from being placed in the spot occupied by a Creature wearing this battlegear isn't functioning. This occurs on both XNA and Unity.

-Ulmar's Projector: Creatures returned by this battlegear cannot move to other spaces.

-Bodal's Arsenal: The opponent gets to choose what Battlegear to place on your Creature when this comes up as the Active Location. This occurs on XNA and Unity.

-OpenGL Client: Due to forces beyond our control, the OpenGL version of the client only supports cards up to the Turn of the Tide set.

-Ijahni Outpost: Users aren't allowed to pay Mugic Counters to leave this Mirage Location. This only occurs on Unity.

-Pranker Tanker: This Battlegear cannot perform it's indicated action. This occurs only on Unity.

-Unity Client on Snow Leopard: The latest OS X update from Apple, entitled Snow Leopard, was released before the Unity team had a chance to implement 64-bit compatibility. As a result, users of Safari need to turn on 32-bit compatibility before playing the game. Users of Firefox on Mac should be immune to this error.

Mac Specific Bugs NOTE: All Chaotic Game Bugs apply to the Mac version as well unless specifically stated

-Mac Client: Due to forces beyond our control, the Mac version of the client only supports cards up to the Turn of the Tide set.

-Administrator: Right now, only Administrators can install and run the game. Installation from a standard account is not possible at this time but users with a Standard account can run the game.

-Updating: Currently there is no way to simply update the Mac version of the game via a patch. Mac users will have to re-download and re-install the game in order to receive any updates.
