| Some of you may have noticed a lot of asterisks popping up in posts. Well, that's our forum's bad word filter/censor doing it's job...and then some...lol! It sure is getting a workout! 
We will eventually be modifying the filter, to loosen some of the restrictions. In the meantime, it's kind of fun trying to figure out what triggers filtering...heh.
And since I'm talking about the bad word filter/censor, let me take a moment to mention that while certain words may not be offensive to you, please be considerate of the fact that those same words may have a completely different meaning and effect on someone else, or could be used in a harmful or hateful manner. Additionally, words that are *** used to belittle, humiliate, defame, threaten, cause *** are *** suggestive in nature, vulgar, obscene, graphic, profane, defamatory, abusive, hateful, bigoted, or otherwise offensive, may also be added to our bad word filter on an on-going basis as they are seen to be used in a negative manner. We will strive to err on the side of caution and consideration when it comes to the inclusion of words into our bad word filter in order to ensure that our Community is as safe and supportive an environment as we can make it.

I've noticed it also censors numbers. I kept trying to input the number one hundred and two hundred, it also censored close with an er. (I can't put the together otherwise it would be censored, and you wouldn't be able to read it.) |

| | The censor blocks anything with inappropriate words even if they are used in other words, that's why there are a large number of asterisks floating around. |

Lol it filtered out some of your stuff^^
It is also annoying when you can't say m a x x o r without it being censored. And all you have to do is put a space between the letters and then its fine. Kind of odd to me but whatever |

| | Many of the censored words are understandable, if you know your bad words well enough LOL. Like a certain creature's name has more than one "x" in a row, and "epi'sode" has p, i, and s in a row, and many others... if you don't get it, then... Good for you! Heehee! |
