| Chaotic® Gaming Events
Manitoba Comic Con & Sci-Fi Expo 2008
Visit Chaotic® in the Gaming Area at Manitoba Comic Con & Sci-Fi Expo 2008 to compete against other Chaotic players to win cool prizes! Every player will walk away with a prize (while supplies last.)
Please note that all attendees will need to purchase a Manitoba Comic Con & Sci-Fi Expo 2008 show ticket to attend the Chaotic Gaming Events. Tickets are $7.50 per day at the door or $12 for both days if you pre-order them. We advise all players who are going to participate in the Chaotic Gaming Events to pre-order their tickets so they don't have to wait in line to get into the show and miss entry into the Tournaments.
Chaotic Battledrome Tournament

When: Saturday, October 11, 2008
Venue: Manitoba Comic Con & Sci-Fi Expo
Location: Winnipeg Convention Center
Entry Fee: Free!
Format: Constructed 6v6
Rule Set: Offline Master Rules (All rules can be found within the comprehensive rules posted below)
Style: Swiss, Cut to Top 8 Single Elimination
1st Place: 1 M'arrillian Invasion: Beyond the Doors™ booster box. 2 Ultra Rare Chaotic Cards from the M'arrillian Invasion™ set. Choice of online Codemaster Deck*.
2nd Place: 1 M'arrillian Invasion: Beyond the Doors booster box. 1 Ultra Rare Chaotic Card from the M'arrillian Invasion set. Choice of online Codemaster Deck*.
3rd – 4th Place: 1 M'arrillian Invasion: Beyond the Doors booster box. Choice of online Codemaster Deck*.
5th – 8th Place: Choice of online Codemaster Deck*.
*Codemaster Deck: The top 8 players will receive a Master code for their choice of 1 of 4 retired Codemaster Decks. These decks were designed and built by the Chaotic Codemasters and have since been retired. Players will be able to select one of the following 4 Decks:
OverWorld™: Twister of Elementalists
UnderWorld™: Lord Van Bloot’s™ Revival
Danian™: Queen Illexia’s™ Infectious Combo
Mipedian™: Blazvatan’s Epic Rage
Schedule:
10am: Registration and check in begins
10:45am: Player Meeting (All players must attend)
11am: Tournament Matches begin
Note: The Top 8 Single Elimination bracket may begin on Sunday if there is not enough time to complete the tournament on Saturday.
Chaotic Tournament Guidelines
1.All players will be required to fill out a deck registration sheet when they register for the event and sign a Player Release Form (both of which can be downloaded here and brought to the event or filled out on site.) A player’s deck will also be checked for legality at this time.
2.There is no re-entry to the tournament if a player decides to drop out.
3.Round times will be 45 minutes long. Players will have small breaks in between rounds while all other games are finishing up and pairings for the next round are being determined.
4.For rules, questions, assistance, or to handle disputes, please call a judge over to your table for a ruling.
Chaotic Battledrome Events
For those players who do not want to participate in the Chaotic Battledrome Tournament the following Chaotic Battledrome Events will be taking place simultaneously in the Gaming Area:
Proving Grounds: 8 person casual-competitive single-elimination tournaments. Each player will receive 3 OP packs just for competing. 1st Place Prize: 1 M'arrillian Invasion: Beyond the Doors™ Booster Box.
Constructed: Free to enter!
Daily Start Times: 12pm, 2pm
Sealed: $20 Entry Fee includes a Chaotic Starter Deck and 3 Booster packs.
Daily Start Times: 1pm, 3pm
Open Battling: Casual environment for players to play against one another without competing. Every player who completes at least 3 games will receive a Chaotic OP pack (while supplies last). Free to play!
Saturday 10am – 6pm
Sunday 10am – 4pm
Challenge a Codemaster: Beat the Chaotic Codemaster and receive an Ultra Rare or Super Rare Chaotic Card and Chaotic T-Shirt (while supplies last)! Free to Challenge! Be sure to sign up right away as spots fill up.
Saturday 10am – 6pm
Sunday 10am – 4pm
Chaotic TCG Demos: Learn how to play Chaotic, the exciting new trading card game that brings together physical and online gameplay.
